Wisconsin governor faces recall over union busting

Wisconsin's Republican governor is set to face a recall election after foes of his law restricting union rights in the US swing state submitted a million signatures to election officials Tuesday.

More than 46 percent of Wisconsin's electorate signed the petition to recall Governor Scott Walker, who was elected in 2010 with 1.12 million votes, United Wisconsin said in a press release.
