TRADES HALL AUDITORIUM

MOTION FOR THE SALE OF PROPERTY AT 377 SUSSEX STREET, SYDNEY:-
The Acting Secretary, Com. M. Costa, moved a Motion in the
following terms:
"That the Labor Council property located at 377 Sussex Street, Sydney, be
sold on terms substantially set out in the circular to affiliates, No.823/97
dated November 10, 1997."
Com. V. Herman seconded.
Com. B. Coombes spoke against the motion.
The mover, Com. M. Costa, spoke in reply.
The Motion was CARRIED in accordance with the rules.
ANNOUNCEMENT:-
Executive Officer, Com. M. Lennon, advised that the NSW Pay
Equity Inquiry hearing would take place in the Commission on January 27, 1998.
The Office of Counsel Assisting the NSW Pay Equity Inquiry had circulated a
paper concerning the Inquiry, which would be circulated to all affiliates, and
any comments should be addressed to Com. M. Lennon or Industrial Officer Com.
G. Gregory at the Labor Council.
