A look at the OHS benefits of ensuring worker well-being and establishing a healthy balance between an employee's work responsibilities and their family or personal commitments.
The current trend towards long, unpredictable and unsociable work hours, coupled with job insecurity, is playing havoc with the competing needs of employees to balance their work and family/life commitments. Evidence is emerging that employers' efforts to reduce work/non-work conflict improve productivity and profitability.
