A Basic Income For All? The Basic Income European Network (BIEN) Conference

One way to attack world poverty would be to provide a daily allowance to cover the basic needs of the impoverished around the world.

BIEN's idea is to give all those around the world who exist on less than a dollar a day one extra dollar per day, everyday. This would prevent starvation and provide a basis for a more permanent solution. The idea was discussed at their 9th Congress recently.
