An opportunity exists to work as a Solicitor within the Legal Services division of the Police Association of NSW. This is a permanent full-time position based in the Sydney CBD and the successful applicant will have a current practicing certificate and a minimum 3 years PQE.
Essential Experience: & Qualifications:
Areas of experience will include: industrial relations, workers compensation, employment and ADR processes. The position requires a person with highly developed written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated advocacy experience including appearance at the Industrial Relations Commission (NSW) and Workers Compensation Commission is essential. A good working knowledge of the Workers Compensation Act/Workplace Injury Management Act, Industrial Relations Act, Police Act and Police Regulations (Superannuation) Act is also a prerequisite.
