General Overview:
The NUW is looking for a committed social justice advocate to work as a Communications Officer with the Research & Campaigns team in the National Office in Melbourne.

Help create a better working life. Work with Union organisers, delegates and members on campaigns to achieve positive change for working people.
We are looking for a Communications Officer who can assist in:
*writing, updating and editing online content * producing and sending regular e-letters *promoting and regularly updating the NUWs accounts across social media.

- have the commitment and passion to campaign with NUW members and fight for their issues.
- have a proven commitment to social justice/union values and principles.
- have excellent communication (particularly written) and listening skills.

- can work in a team environment and relate well with people from a variety of backgrounds.
Salary:
To be commensurate with the successful applicants level of experience.
