Women’s Rights at WorkWhere: Trades Hall AuditoriumWhen: 10 March 2008
The training workshop is to identify key issues for building an agenda for women's rights at work. The workshop will educate participants about issues facing women at work and help to identify a legislative and bargaining agenda to enhance women's rights and representation at work.
Day one of the workshop is focused on education and day two is focused on campaign planning. The conference will be held at Unions NSW Trades Hall Auditorium Building, enter via 377 Sussex St Sydney (near Goulburn St). Registration commences at 8am on Monday 10th March and the first panel commences at 9:30 sharp. The conference finishes at 5pm on Tuesday 11 March. The issues to be addressed are: 1. The lack of balance between work and family life 2. Pay equity and workplace standards 3. Representation of women
