20 September 2001 Circular To: All AffiliatesRE: Common Rule Training Wage Award - Labor Council's Submission
Dear Colleague,
A meeting has been arranged for 3.00pm to 5.00pm on Monday, 24th September, in the Executive Board Room, Level 9, 377 Sussex Street, Sydney. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the preparation of Labor Council's submission, for which we have engaged the services of Jones Staff & Co, Solicitors. Conrad Staff will be present at the meeting to discuss the formulation of the submission in relation to the threshold issue pertaining to the status of the National Training Wage Award as a National Decision - as defined under Section 50 of the Industrial Relations Act. Trusting your union will be represented at this meeting.
