18 September 2001 Circular To: All AffiliatesRE: Rally in Support of Ansett and Related Workers
Dear Colleague,
On Friday, 21st September, there will be nationwide lunch-time rallies in support of the workers who have lost their jobs as a result of the collapse of Ansett. The Sydney rally will be held at 12 noon on Friday, 21st September, at the Ansett Terminal, Sydney Domestic Airport. Labor Council encourages all affiliates to attend this rally to show their support for the workers and to send a strong message to the Federal Government about the importance of protecting jobs and securing workers' entitlements.
