Dear Colleague,
Council on the Ageing (COTA) is an advocacy group for older people within our community. One issue that COTA has a particular interest in is the difficulties older workers face in gaining and maintaining employment. COTA has arranged a group discussion to consider what strategies governments and other organisations (including unions) should take to ensure mature age workers receive appropriate support. This discussion will take place between 1pm and 3pm on Friday, 8th November, at Level 5, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney. Unions are encouraged to attend and a registration form was faxed to affiliates today.
